Azar Azad is a serial entrepreneur, received her doctorate degree in clinical Diagnostic Laboratory Sciences, followed by her Ph.D. in clinical biochemistry. Azar has over 20 years experiences in clinical research and diagnostic area, she has been principal investigator, co-principle investigator, and collaborator in multiple national clinical trials; developing and implemented clinical trials (phase I-III) for pharma and biotech industry; operated projects for validation and regulatory submission for multiple medical devices,platforms and analytical assays with track record of achieving FDA and HealthCanada approvals. She is certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and ISO auditor for medical devices.

Dr. Trevor McKee received his Ph.D. from MIT in 2005 and is an accomplished biomedical engineer who has published 35 peer-reviewed papers in the fields of biomedical imaging and image analysis methods. Over the past 5 years he has successfully managed the STTARR image analysis core facility
Justin Grant, Founder and CIO
Dr. Justin Grant achieved a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy and an Executive MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. Over the past 10 years, Justin held academic Faculty appointments, managed large cancer research grants and a world-renowned preclinical imaging facility known as the STTARR InnovationCentre at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. He is well known for providing advisory in science and business as well as establishing partnerships and collaborations with Academics, Pharma, Biotech and Medical Device companies
Alex Soares Duarte, A.I. Scientist
Dr. Alex Soares Duarte is a physicist and AI scientist with a broad experience on experimental optics, specifically on microscopy related research. Over the past 6 years, he worked on reputed institutions including Heidelberg (DE) and Oxford (UK) universities. Recently he has developed a machine learning algorithm to improve label localization on fluorescence-labeled super-resolution microscopy on ICFO institute of photonics (ES) using convolution neural networks auto-encoders.
Dr. Amza Ali, Executive Vice President, Neurology & Neuroscience Division
Dr. Ali trained in Neurology at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London and is specialist certified in Neurology by the Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom. He then completed a Clinical Epilepsy fellowship at the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, Neurological Institute, Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, New York, and is board certified by the American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology (ABCN). He is Director of the Epilepsy Centre of Jamaica and is a Senior Consultant Neurologist and Senior Associate Lecturer in Neurology at the University of the West Indies. He is the current President of the Epilepsy Society of the Caribbean. He has received many international professional awards and was recently chosen as a global Ambassador for Epilepsy (2019) by the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) and the International Bureau for Epilepsy (IBE).

Sassan Azad is an experienced Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP), who received his M.Sc. in Clinical Biochemistry from Iran University of Medical Sciences, as well as a certification in Clinical Epidemiology from Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto. His role as Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is to establish and maintain relationships with KOLs in both Pharma/Biotech and Academia, focusing on A.I. clinical applications.
